Car Model: 1963Valiant Signet200
I recently purchased a 1963 Valiant Signet 200. It came with several boxes of spare parts. Among them are 2 pair of torsion bars. One set is marked 890L and 890R,which cross to 2535890 and 891. These are used, but appear in excellent condition. In addition there is another unmarked set. I do not need these but would like to make them available to someone who can use them. They are somewhat heavy and cumbersome, and I am not interested in shipping them.I am in Western Washington. Not really interested in selling them, but if someone has a front bench seat that fits my valiant, I would be willing to trade for them. Otherwise lrt me know your interest, they need a home. Thanks, Alan

Can you measure the diameter of the unwanted bars:

1. to make sure they are a matched set.
2. to inform any perspective buyyers as to what rate/diameter they are.

Maybe put a post in the parts for sale section of this forum for any parts that you wish to "part" with.

Cheers!

Greg

If you have a dial caliper, you might measure the diameters directly. That would avoid having to sleuth the part numbers.

All the best,
Lou

Those are .850" bars, so stock 273/318 V-8 bars, or later Slanty w/AC &/or disc brakes.
