I rechecked my blowproof bellhousing offset and it looks like I could move it about .005". But .007 is about the lowest that I see. And measuring my pins it looks like they are .496" not .500 like most companies are selling. Has anyone used these .500 pins or do I call Brewers ( Only place I seen the correct .496" pins) Or if you got them somewhere else let me know. When all is said and done I am going to be going from .005 offset to .002 or .003" Still not at all sure it is worth the extra work and time for .003"

I did see a post somewhere someone drove those pins in and cracked a block.
Are the pins you have marked Ford?

Check the service manual or call Brewers for what a TIR reading should be.You are going to be pretty close with what you have I'd say.
I have futz'ed with the 0.500" dowels :| on the lathe
It is not worth it.

Get the correct ones from Brewers or get some here:

https://www.robbmcperformance.com/products/dowels.html

I have bought a set from robbmc before. Good pieces.
Summit might have the correct mopar ones as well?

I did not get any offset pins yet. FSM supposedly says .008 total is fine. First time I checked it I was at .008 total runout (.004 off centerline), the second time I had .010. (.005 off centerline). So it appears at most I am .001" off spec. I am going to send it and hope for the best. Thanks guys!

I bet you will be just fine, Rick. Yes, you need the Mopar spec 0.496" pins. They are 0.007" offset, IIRC, for the smallest pin. MP used to sell them.
