I cannot see why not.

Those look big like a "B" body here in the states.

Of course you will have the typical hot rodder issues making motor mounts, exhaust, linkage and throttle connections etc.

What engine was supplied with your car?

Errrrr…no. The AP3 was the last revision of the Australian Chrysler Royal. More or less a '53 Plymouth with tailfins and quad headlamps.

That's a nice looking car!

Did the Aussies not get the Slant 6 till after 63? Or why did they still use the 230/250 I6

I believe they had the Chrysler Valiant in late 1960 or 1961, with the 225 Slant 6 only, and had the Slant through about 1974?

The CHrysler Royals never got the Slant-6 engine as factory equipment – just flathead 6s and V8s (313 A-block motors, IIRC).

The first Australian Valiants were 1961 (R) models sold down there as '62s. The last Australian-market Valiant to get Slant-6 power was the 1969 VF model; starting with the '70 VG they went to the locally-developed D-engine, the "Hemi 6", which lasted through to the last '81 CM-model Valiants. But exported cars, VG through CM, were built with the 225 rather than the Hemi-6.
