Hello, I am looking for trim clips for the roof trim on my '62 wagon.

I have yet to remove mine, I feel that If I do, many will break. I have a pattern to make new ones, but they will be 3d printed from some sort of resin, not steel/spring steel like the originals.

Clips for Part # 12 on the diagram above

Thanks,

Greg

Ooooohboy. That's gonna be a toughie. I checked the Gary Goers cattledog…nada. You might spend some time parked in front of AutoBodyClips.com, though I don't have high hopes.

That Is what I thought.

Thanks for thoughts. I may just try my hand at 3d printing them as well.

Well Maybe I hafta just answer my own want ad this time.

Starting some development work..

I am sure it will take 36 redesigns to get it to fit after printing and testing.

Will try to print them in some sort of resin here at work. Will likely be a one-time use clip if made of plastic/nylon. Fingers will be sacrificed when removal is attempted.

Anyhoo, back to melting snow in the still. :D :D

mmmm...

I might be able to help a little. Almost all the 60-62 wagon guys need these pieces. Let me check and get back to you. How soon would you need these. Sometimes I and quick but most times I operate at just under sloth speeds...

I don't need them soon. I had a buddy 3D-print one yesterday, and it was sort of floppy on the Makerbot.

I wonder how they would be if they were printed in metal... Definitely some revisions to go through when turning sheetmetal into printed plastic.
