Anyone got a picture of a 62 Lancers grounding braid from the engine to the firewall. A picture would be useful to see stock location of connections.

Thanks..

It's not stock, because I made my own ground.
But it is a 62 Lancer.
I just picked up one bellhousing bolt.

Thanks hyperpak,
Found it. Thought I saw it before. Your car is sooooo clean. Mine is such a relic. I'm keeping it that way so people don't look at it too much. The main ground connection from battery to engine block showed the engine contact somewhat rusty also. I also made my own engine to firewall replacement cable soldering the big wires to the connection terminal for a sure contact. All monting surfaces were sanded til smooth and shiny. This solved a partial or poor charging issue. I got the car because a collector couldn't figure out the charging problem . Car ran fine but with headlights on showed unusual strain on electric system . A lot of work as car was not in a protected environment. A car cover goes a long way to protect classic cars from dirt, rain and bird droppings. My car cover worth every penny I paid for it.

Extra gounds won't hurt either.
Good luck with your project!
