Check out Rick covalt or Greg ondayko.
Both are in PA as well and each has quite the/6 collection.
As I remember one or the other had a /6 727 listed here for sale not too long ago.
Actually there's a couple of people in that area...
Hopefully they'll see this.
I might have one here real soon as soon as I get my mind made up whether to keep my 727 or whether to swap in my a500 . yes the a500 was only made with the v8 bolt pattern. But I have a way to make it work.
I also have a brand new reman converter with mine as the ring gear was bad. Zero miles just a couple of hours of break in time on my engine. But I'm in Chicago ish.

AS another option, if nothing else works for you. I have an extra empty slant six 727 case available.

What is needed for the case a standard 727 for parts? Is there any specific tourque converter? Sorry for the late response I had notifications turned off.

I can get the numbers off the case. That will tell the year. Then the best "safest" way to get the correct parts would be to get V-8 727 of the same year range (there were changes made internally over the years, some could make a differance). Just put the V_8 internals in the slant case.
Almost any TC would work/fit, but wouls be best to get a "rebuilt" from a republe rebuilder, as there were many stall variations. The rebuilder can tailor the stall for your application.

I'll have to try and find may "numbers" list. and find the application/year.
Just as a reminder, this is just a empty main case for a slant six.

Got the numbers wrong. It is 3745916M 6206 0623
