Take it off and use an oil filter with the standpipe built in. I belive SlantSixDan knows the part#'s for such things, or you can use the search function. I have done both using a standpipe amd also just running the threaded nub in the base of the oil pump. |

I would not be afraid to run it in a normal engine. High performance, high rpm then no. It does cause some restriction. 51806 I think is the Wix number? |

Yes that is what I run too. 51806 has the built in standpipe. |
