Looking for a pedal assy that bolts to the firewall (inside car) for the 64-66 "A" body V-8 and/or slant six with air conditiong. I don't need everthing. just the mounting and pedal lever. I thought I had one, but can't find it.

I do not have one. But I convert my twisty rod 1 bbl pedals to cable style using a 1972-1980 dodge truck throttle assemblt from the firewall. Works well with the stock 1960-1966 A body pedal on thd floor.

Somtimes cutting and welding is required.

To expand your search: the '62-'65 B-body accelerator pedal setup is cable-type, too. Different to the '64-'66 A-body cable-type setup; the B-body assembly uses a nicer (lower-friction) roller wheel at the pedal/bellcrank junction, instead of the A-body spoon-shaped end of the bellcrank rubbing on a nylon pad on the back of the pedal. But the B-body setup can be installed in an A-body without much of any more difficulty than installing the A-body setup. I put one in my '62 Lancer.

Can't help you Charrlie, I used my last one on my Colt.
I like the spoon on the firewall with my limited space.

I'm still looking for the one I thought I had. Want it for my "nice" 64 valiant. It will cover the holes in the firewall, from the "twisty" linkage. For now I'm going to use a Offie manifold and Holley 4 bbl. but eventually going to port FI and coil near plug ign.

Is it visually similar to the A body unit? Just curious because I remember c-bodies (64-66ish) also using floor mounted pedals with a roller wheel that rolled against the backside of the pedal.

Very nearly identical. Pedal-to-floor bolts are east-west rather than north-south.
