I found these while browsing around. Look kind of interesting. He says he can also make them with male heim joints and tubular struts that bolt to (I guess) the Lower Control Arm. One question. Are 64-66 strut rods the same length as the 67 up? It sounds like it doesn't really matter He wrote me that he can make them pretty much any way you want. I should have learned machining. I am considering trying these on my new '66 V100 (Project V) racecar. Not sure if these would be OK on the street, but it seems like they'd be OK - maybe a little harsher ride? The length of your bars doesn't matter because you need to cut them down and get them threaded anyway. Lou |

Bill says they are only slightly noisier than rubber mounted rods. I have them on order, along with his tubular A arm, and will report back when they are installed. Am also installing bigger torsion bars, and the A arms have urethane bushings, so more harshness will result from that also. It will be hard to pin down just how much harshness wil be caused by the strut rods alone. |
