Does any body know if I can run a Carter AFB 9500 500 CFM carb on my slant six? I'm thinking that I can but need to know what jet sizes and meetering rods to use. If anyone can help me I would be thankful.
I am using a Offenhauser four barrel manifold.

This carb is pretty close out of the box for a medium-built Slant. On a stock slant, this carb is a little big, but will run OK except. Try it with stock jetting first and get a strip kit to tune from there.

A Holley 390 would probably be better for a stock motor.
