hi folks it past some time since the last time i was on this board but i have a idea and wonder if somone would like to join I plan to do a glass hood for my 66 barracuda ,so i gues it should fit any 64-66 A-body mopar (is that right ?) Now i wonder if someone of you would be interested to buy one ? I cant say a price now but before i start to produce i would put some pics of it into this board . I dont wanna do money with it tha means you would pay near the price i pay for the material . Its gonna be a race hood without any mounting hardware or bosses on it its a simple lift off hood . If anyone of you like to order one its your choice how many layers og glass i put inside or if i use glas or carbon fiber . So now i wonder what you think about ? Oh before i forget a important detail ,i am from switzerland so the shiping is around 100$ i guess. best regards : Deniz |

Actually, there is a company here in the US that already sells fiberglass hoods, trunk lids (boot lids?), and front and rear bumpers for 64-69 Barracudas: http://www.vfnfiberglass.com/site.htm 66 Front Bumper. Price=150.00 Weight=4 each Ship: UPS Items. 66 Rear Bumper. Price=150.00 Weight=4 each Ship: UPS Items. 66 Stock Flat Pin On Hood. Price=255.00 Weight=13 Ship: Truck Freight. 66 Flat Lift Off Trunk . Price=140.00 Weight=5 Ship: ups item. If you are going the fiberglass route, these prices are pretty cheap. Of course, those are US dollars (today, one US dollar = 1.3635 Swiss Francs) and shipping might be expensive, but it saves a ton of work. Any chance you might be making fiberglass fenders or a fiberglass front clip for a 66 Barracuda? Reed |

Very true. Well, be sure to post some pictures of the finished product so we can all see how it turns out. Reed |

The hood for a 66 Valiant/Barracuda is by itself. 64-65 Valiant/Barracuda hoods will interchange with each other, by changeing the hood latch mechinism. Don't know about Darts. |
