thanks for the help..the stroker article answered my questions..it looks like the long rod 225 would work for me..I'm new at this, but determined..my questions would be 1) what specifically would I need for this build 2) what kind of milage could I expect as this would be a daily driver 3)I would finish with hyper-pak from clifford with headers..does this seem about right??..thanks again..

Slantzilla had one that was a good screamer... I think he was getting 18 mpg highway or close to that... Hopefully he'll chime in here. I have most of the items for that build up but have to wait to get the $$$ for the pistons.

You probably will be the first to put a Hpak on the motor, but because of the long runners and the nature of the build you will have to carefully choose your cam profile and may have signal problems with the carb.

Do a search for Hpak or hyperpak and see what problems we've been running into with clifford's hyperpak before plunking for it, more people seem to be happy with the 'shorty' manifolds.
