well i am getting my head project done and am doing the interior,and it got me thinking could you swap a diff transmissoin in from another slant?. i have a 70 dart 904 3 speed auto? is it possible? sory if my projects annoy you guys  but i cant help it  thanks |

Wich ones are good? is there a better automatic?i am planning on teaching my self how to rebuild a transmission so i thought as long as i am trying might as well try to put a better one in. thanks |

The 904 is fine for most all Slants To up-grade, use 998 / 999 V8 parts inside and the low first gear (2.75 ratio) and that makes a pretty good trans. DD |
