:D :D OKAY FELLOW OWNERS, I FOUND THIS SITE WHILE LOOKING FOR A WIRING DIAGRAM TO TROUBLESHOOT THE FUEL/TEMP GAUGE GREMLIN. AS I WAS SHOPPING THE FORUM, I REALIZED THERE ARE ALOT PEOPLE WITH THE SAME CHALLENGE.

MY SITUATION IS A BIT DIFFERENT IN THAT AN AFTERMARKET(STEWART WARNER) AMMETER GAUGE WAS INSTALLED, USING THE STOCK WIRING.
THIS IS TROUBLESOME TO TRACE, BUT I SEE THERE ARE KNOWLEDGEABLE PEOPLE IN THE WEBSITE TO HELP.

THAT BEING SAID, AND NOT RELATED TO THIS TOPIC, MY SITUATION IS THIS. I HAVE FOUND AND PLAN TO PRESERVE THE FORECAST (BUILD SHEET) OUT OF THE BACK SEAT SPRINGS FOR RESTORATION PURPOSES.

:? ANY IDEA WHERE I CAN FIND THE BREAKDOWN OF THESE CODES?
THEY DIFFER GREATLY FROM THE VIN FENDER TAG.

First, double-check the vins on build sheet, fender tag, and dashboard to make sure all match each other. It's not unknown for a build sheet from one car to make it into a different car.

:) gotcha roger, thanks for pointing that out. I did that before posting my topic. The local dodge dealer says they hear an archive service exists for almost every car out there. Was hoping someone could stear me to that.

The IBM card is available for cars up to '67 at I think a reasonable cost. I have a '67 that I need to get a card for. The '68-up cards were supposed to be destroyed by water some years ago. I think it's the Chrysler Historical Society that you contact for informantion.
Some of the #s on the build sheet are the last two or three #s of the seven digit part # of the part used.

Post subject:  In case you haven't seen a broadcast sheet

Don't mean to jack your thread, but I thought this might be a good time to show some of the guys, who haven't seen one before, what a broadcast (build) sheet looks like. This is the one we found in my son Aaron's '74 Dart Sport a few weeks ago, when we stripped out the interior for painting.

This was my first time to see one, also.
