I found a hidden treasure trove today. Aaron and I went to a site this afternoon, where I was told a Barracuda was seen lurking in the brush. Sure enough, we found it, as well as four Dusters, a Dart 440, a Volare, a Valiant, and some other unidentified Dodge. I'll post pics tomorrow, because I need some help identifying some of those I'm not familiar with. One of them was a Gold Duster. So, what does that mean? What makes them special or different from standard Dusters? Jerry |

Options depended on the 'year': The mid year 1970 model was: 225 or 318 Dual Horns White sidewall tires deluxe wheel covers front bucket seats cigarette lighter chrome exterior trim Gold tape stripes Not long after that: Canopy Vinyl top with snakeskin texture 'Gold Duster' fender decals Gold body stripes wider wheels special interior trim (some later years would have the woodgrain 1975-1976 'deluxe' door panels instead of the plain one color panels like the '73-74's)... On the late ones(post '73), I've seen them with everything from disc brake fronts, to 9" SBP drums...so do some crawling to see if any are optioned with the 8 1/4"(8 3/4") you want to grab... -D.Idiot |
