Hey Folks, I'm looking for 0.125" thick polycarbonate (Lexan or other trade names) plastic sheet to make windows for my Valiant race car. Anybody know of a good place to get this stuff in NC? Our Lowe's (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill) doesn't carry polycarb anymore, and Home Depot only has 0.093" and not in big enough sizes to make a 55" wide back window. Thanks much, Lou |

Try looking in the Thomas register at your local library. The Thomas register will show all industrial suppliers of Lexan and anything else conceivable, and hopefully youll find one in your area. Generally industrial suppliers sell for cheaper than retail stores anyway, but you have to check and make sure they sell to the public. Hope that gives you some good leads. |

Lou, I know of a couple of places in Charlotte. In fact it is where we bought the lexan for the Simca. Call a chassis shop in your area and just ask them where they buy it....or maybe they can order it for you. If you can't find a place let me know and I will dig up the contact info for the place here. Tom |
