Hi there guys

I'm about getting a 2bbl holley and hooker headers. Since I can't get mopar performance hooker headers (for dual ex) down here n argentina, and importing such heavy item would be a pain in the neck, I'm gonna have them copied by a local ex master. We're trying to decide if he should install some heat riser device (many performance headers here have some sort of sheet metal that bolts under the intake manifold)

Would this make difference? should I have my mechanic welding that riser or just leave it "as is" ?

Thanks in advance for all the advice on this.

take care!

If it gets cold at all there, I would say 40F or below I would have a heat riser. I have drove a /6 with a stuck heat rizer(open) and it was a pig at 50 with out it... I freed it up it made all the diff.

:?: it gets really cold 10 days per year or so... but I guess that since I travel sometimes to cold places, I'll get the heat riser installed.
Thanks for the advice.
