Would my engine run well with a 250 duration cam and a stock head with a two barrel carb? Or would I have to put a four barrel carb on there. I will be running 9:1 pistons bored thirty over. I would greatly appreciate the help because I want to get this engine on the road.

Your information is a little too vague. What is the lift on your cam and duration at 50?

I think it is a 252 or 254 duration and like 436 lift i think

Do you know who ground this cam?
It kinda sounds like the mild Crane profile.
If you have a local cam grinder you can get them to check it so you know exactly what you have and how it should be installed.

I'll bet it's the 252S comp cam since it's 252 with .435 lift...

If he goes that route, I'd suggest 4 barrel to get the most out of it, the super six tops out and goes flat in a certain rpm range....

Get back to us on the cam info, it's a bit vague...
