Finally going to start on my 69dart convert, it is completely disassembled, so I'm going to start from the bottom up, anyhow which vendors do the vast mopar network guru's recommend for new brake lines,. It is stock 10" manual brakes, I want to replace the lines/fix brakes as it has been off the road for some time. Also, if anyone has suggestions as to re-assembly I will gladly accept time saving steps from other's experience Thanks .. Heck if your in Kansas I'll but the beer :D (after the work is done)!!!!

Try www.inlinetube.com or www.classictube.com. For the rubber lines, they should still be available from your local parts store, though you might have a hard time finding the rear soft line this way.

Try finelinesinc.com and rightstuffdetailing.com

You could always buy the hardline by the roll (summit sells it I believe) and make it yourself. You'd need to buy a bender and flare tool as well. For 3/16" brake line you can get away with a cheap $10 flare tool. I haven't shoped around for benders that can do 3/16" tube (I have one that was $20 or so that came from home depot and can do 1/4", 5/16", 3/8").

This may be a bit labor intensive but you may save some money (maybe not, depends on the tools you get, but you can always reuse the tools for fuel line or anything else....). Use your originals as a pattern and you are set.

Hello VDART, I don't have any help for you. I just wanted to say hi. I think you might have met a friend of mine yesterday. He just bought a red '74 Scamp. Just a greeting from another Wichita slant owner. Good luck with the restoration. I'd love to see the car sometime.
