can anyone tell me how many quarts of oil i should be using with a rear sump oil pan out of a pickup truck? Also what is a good oil pressure for a 13:1 motor at say 2000 rpm. i have put in 6 quarts of oil but dont have the correct dip stick to check where it should be.

Depends on which oil filter you are using. 5 1/2 quarts for the small (pint) oil filter, 6 quarts for the big (quart) one.
