I am facing a problem discussed earlier having to do with new Crager SS wheels mounted onto my front 10" "finned" drums. I have thought of the modification with the 1/4 spacers 6" diameter and epoxying them to the drums, but I was wondering if I could just buy new drums (flat) and swap them out?? Would they fit where the finn drums were or would I have to purchase a whole new assembly???? thanks for all help- Bryan |

I think if you put the earlier style drum on the wheels will clear. I bought a set of slots that had been shaved to clear the finned drums, the owner said they worked fine on non- finned type. heck go to your Autozone & try a non-finned one out, (69dartcv@cox.net) I have some rear ones but no front ones we could work with. |

They work fine with flat drums! I use SS wheels on my 66 fish. I did have to get rid of the balance weight's |
