i am looking to replace the wheels on my 76 dart 4 door and would like to know what the max size tires i can use are and also what the backspacing needs to be. i have been looking at the U.S wheel series 97 chrome mods but dont know wether they will work. right now i have 14 inch rims but am willing to swich to 15 inch. also what are the widest rims i can use with out rubbing. thanks in advance for any help. I have the same question. It looks like it's pretty limited due to the spring perch arrangement. I have another problem where I am changing out the rear end to one that is 3/4 inch wider so my offset inward is more. I plan to post a another topic on a similar issue. We'll see what responses we get. BTW I will be doing a technical breakdown of the critical measurements and I know the local tire and wheel shops will work with me. |

i have done alot more research since i wrote this post and figured i am pretty much SOL untill i swap the rear and do a disk brake conversion on the front because of the bolt pattern but i am sure what you find out will help me at a later date |
