The leaf springs on my A-body are no longer arched. I asked a guy and he said he'd do it for $150 or re-arch em'.. but what i wondering is, if i can go to the junkyard and take the leaf springs that are arched off of another A-body and put them on mine.. or should i just pay the $150?

Do like Gmader said, or go to J.C. Whitney. Catalog I got three days ago says $54 bucks per spring. That's $108 plus shipping, and "your" guy wants 150 to rearch old, tired metal. You do the math.

i was thinking of buying new ones from JC Whitney.. but decided to head over to the Pick Your Part out here in San Pedro, CA and found a Chrysler Cordova with a nice set of leafs that fit my car.... After about 4 hours of work my dad and i finally got them off of the car and to the exit.. They charged me $26.99 for both of them.. I'm pretty happy with the result...
