I WONDERED IF THE NEW HYPER pak-INTAKE WILL CLEAR THE HOOD ON A 64 DART WITH A 650 holley WITHOUT CUTTING THE HOOD EVERY PICTURE I HAVE SEEN THE HOODS HAVE BEEN BUTCHERED ? :?: :?:

I run one in a duster with a drop tin, and 2" tall air filter, the wingnut on the airfilter hits the crossmember in my hood, but at least I can shut the hood on it, and it barely allows room for the choke plate to open and shut...

If you really want to see where things 'lie', measure 24" from the head and see where that puts you on your fender and with the hood almost closed, then from that point measure up about 6" and see if that leaves any room...

It's kinda tight in them early A-bodies....

my 64 is completely torn apart i was wishing some one had one together and could answer before i spent the money on the intake
