Couldn't resist sharing that. I'm starting to collect parts for an EFI conversion for the Turbo Dart. I already have a few possible throttle bodies and a set of Supra Turbo (440 cc/min) injectors. Now I just need to find a cheap way to get the injectors into the manifold when I don't have a lathe... |

Good for you Matt. Lou built mine, and I really felt like I missed alot by not building it myself. The process of building it will yield priceless insight when it comes to trouble shooting. One small glitch in the instructions: there are several jumper wires which you must put on the relay board, which are not discussed much if at all in the instructions. They are c-1, c-2,and c-3. Make sure you have these in place, or it WILL NOT run. Lou discovered their absence after much blue air and hair pulling. Once those were in, SON of A GUN, it started right up. Don't hesitate to post questions that arise. This will help everyone on the forum. |

Thanks for the suggestion, Panic, but I think with a turbo a set of independant throttle bodies may be more trouble than it's worth. I'm planning on putting injectors in a Super Six manifold (since I didn't want to hack up my Offenhauser piece) and using an adapter to attach a throttle body. Dartvader, did you have to upgrade your alternator on your installation? |
