i was thinking about running a 225 super six with 2.50" piping back to the muffler, and then 2 1/4" to the end would make any kind of difference? or should i just do 2 1/4 all the way?

2 1/4 will be enough seeing that the outlet coming out of the factory exhaust manifold is only 2 inch. (Most all the restriction will be in the manifold)
