I have Clifford "shorty" headers and the gasket they came with works really well and never had a leak. I removed the manifolds to get work done to the head and the gasket came apart.
I checked the Clifford website and they want $13 for the gasket + $15 shipping.
Also, I heard they take their time getting parts to you.
My question is has anyone used another gasket for headers? Where are you getting it from? Is there a difference between Clifford's and what I'll find at say, Autozone?

Call the Cox Brothers

Nice thick gasket, $8 for the last ones I got. Called them and had them in just a couple days. Great people to work with. I want to support those who support the Slant 6 folks, and the Cox Brothers certainly do that.
