The nice thing is that this seems to be a kind of "DUAL plane" design and the split area in the middle is precisely the position the Butterflies on the 36DCD Weber is aiming at - these carbs focus their barrel flow to the middle position - the butter flies open towards each other and the middle and this is a progressive carb - the DGAV is similar cheaper but not as tunable

Amen. I was hoping to pick up one of the new Aussie manifolds for that very reason, but I decided the size of the manifold would interfere with my power brake master cylinder. These designs seem shorter, and better for my F.I. plans.

Your wish is my command - we still have some fiddling time

How far from the runner opening , what diameter and at what angle to the runner centerline do you want them

The Request so far has been

Water heated plenum for all
EFi Bungs
Bracket kit for the dualies
Plenum Divider for the 4BBl
2bbl & 4 BBl Mounting plates with the carbs rotated 90 degrees

please ad on to the list while there is time and we will see what is feasible
BTW the ruler next to the manifolds are 30cm

here is pic for comparison sake with a supersix type manifold

I'd say put them at 45 degrees to the runner and have the top of the injector pad about 2 cm above the runner and 1.5 cm back from the manifold flange. The way Clifford did it should work well. Pad should be at least 2 cm wide, 2.5 cm is better, and centered on the runner.

You do realize you'll have competition from the Aussie "Hurricane" intakes just made available, at least for US and overseas buyers.

Oh well I am doing it because these manifolds were original options available on your chrysler from the dealer - These are more for the restification performance enthusiasts - and due to reasonable pricing on the manufacturing side my manifolds will retail for $250 ish

First 10 orders on each for $175 :D

You had me talked out of the offy 2x1 a month ago for your dual weber and then you go and add a dual plane dual weber to the mix :twisted:

Too many choices here! You posted an article about the dual weber swap a while back in the Offy group buy thread (I think), any info or data on the dual plane dual weber???

BTW, adding EFI bungs to all intakes is a great idea if you are still in the forming stage. If someone doesn't want them until later, they have options. If someone just wants the intake for an original reproduction they can be "massaged" off the intake.
