My '72 Duster came with a Slant Six. My son would like a 360 in the car. Does the Schumacher conversion for the SL6 to 360 work on such a small K-member. How about strength?

i'm thinking the mounts were designed specifically for a project like yours. you should contact them directly for more info. nice guys to deal with. i used stock replacement mounts that schumacher sells and they are top quality. you should have no problems.

Time to get your son another car to put a V-8 in so you can keep the slant.

I've used their kits and they are very well engineered. It's a drop in deal...

But I agree with Jeb. Keep the Slant! :D

As far as keeping the Slant. You bet! I am saving this engine for my own personal project. When son goes to college in the Fall. That will free up some time and $$$ to work on my project.

This engine is so much beefier than my '80 SL6. It inspires you to push the envelope a little more.

Freeing up time I understand, but freeing up $$$?! I've always heard the opposite on that one! What's your secret? I have four boys that will be going that route someday (I hope).

I joined the Army for my college money and now 22 years later I forget what it was I studied!
