This weekend I finally got the front engine dragster running again (built by Dick Weber).

Now some questions...
At this point my oil pressure guage is hooked to a 'T' in the oil system, it looks kinda crude. I assume the correct place to tap into the oil system is the pad on the rear passenger side of the block along the main oil gallery. Correct?

I have a Fisher balancer on this motor with no pulley as yet. I want to run an alternator so I'll need a pully to drive it (water pump is electric). Anyone know of a very shallow pulley to fit the Fisher balancer? I can tolerate one about two inches deep but that is the limit or it will hit the electric fan motor. I'd prefer one less than an inch.

thanks in advance,
mark

PS. Should get some track time on the 25/26.

Does your Fisher have 3 holes for the pulley? If it does, it's set up for Chevy pulleys and they have some that are pretty much flat.

That is where I put my oil presure line. I always make sure I drill & tap that pad on al SL6 engines I build. (most are not)

Dennis is right, the Fisher damper has a Chebby bolt pattern. I used a completly flat pully on the one I have and it works fine.
Get us some times once you run it.
