Anyone else see who took the farmington race?? Here were some of the
racers that were in attendance: Seymour Penderson
Norman Foster
Ron Parker
Ron Hamby
Meril Bruner
Barry Harrison
Rodney Hargis
Derrick Daughtry
The Drakes who had 2 or 3 cars in attendance
Judy Drake was running her valiant
Primered black plymouth volare driven by ???
Plymouth Volare wagon driven by (Sorry didnt get to talk to him either)
Me- running the '71 Duster..
Ok I know I have forgotten a person or two so forgive me...

Went up against Judy Drake in round 1 and won it. Got to round 2 and was
took out by Barry Harrison's Six Pack. I almost had him, But I had done
some mods to the car and it was still in it's tuning stages ..Pulling slower
lights than usual too. Gotta get used to the different tracks! Either ways I had fun but left after I was defeated. I was tired hungry and had a lack of cash....

Ron Parker commented that he still hasn't got the bagel bamboozler on his car yet :D

There were 13 racers alltogether, including me :) . I lost Barry in the first round.

It was Rodney and Tom in the final....Tom won by 0.004

The Piedmont Mopar Club and Farmington Dragway and the Drakes again put up one of the best events this year. Thanks Tom, Leighton, and Judy. Tom the Dragon Drake set the Simca on bracket kill and when the smoke cleared he beat Rodney Hargis by 4 thousand of a second. Racers beating Rodney is no easy deal you better be sharp and have the right race package. Great weekend and enjoyed hanging out with my Slanted Friends :D :D Ron Parker
