how can i get my 225 /6 to run at least 15s at the strip i have a 1986 dodge D100 the trans is a 3 speed with O/D everything is stock

Lots of cam, higher compression, lower rear end gears, headers, 4 barrel intake, recurved distributor.

Problem is, once you've done all that, it will be a terrible truck for anything but the track. I wouldn't want to do that to my truck, but my car is on it's way.

Don't be fooled by some of the guys with really quick slant six cars, making a big truck go that fast is not easy or cheap with a six.
