got a 74 beautiful '74 Swinger that desperately needs a RH Outside rear view mirror. it's got one on the drivers door, but had I another mirror like that, it would not be angled correctly for the passenger side door. did they ever make one in the same style for that side?

advice pls. I've got an aftermarket one that looks pretty crummy, style-wise.

I wouldn't say I'm an expert or that I'm 100% sure, but what I can tell you is that I have never seen a Swinger with a RH mirror... And truthfully, I find the big window with no post seperating the rear wing (on a 2dr at least) provides so much view that I don't need the mirror, which I think is why it was never there to begin with.

When I first bought it, I thought the same thing, and I wanted one too, but now I never think about it.

Yes, RH sideview mirror was optional in '74. You could get the basic manual version (grab the whole mirror head and move it around to adjust the angle) or you could get one that looked like the LH remote-control round mirror (no remote on the RH side, just push the glass around within the head to adjust the angle), or you could get a painted or chrome "rallye" (smaller, horizontal oval) unit, also of the "manual, push-the-glass-within-the-head" variety.
