I'm getting a rhythmic squeak from my passenger-side front wheel when I'm driving at any speed. The squeak goes away whenever I turn. It doesn't seem to matter left or right. I removed the bearings, re-packed them with grease and adjusted them, but the problem persists. I noticed the brakes are dragging ever so slightly.... Could this be the cause? The brake drag seems to be a persistent problem. I back off the adjustment and within a week, they're dragging again. I'm sure I have the brakes installed correctly, but I can't figure out why they keep over-adjusting. Does anyone know how to prevent this problem? Any ideas concerning the squeak?

Thanks in advance,

Nat

Do the brakes drag evenly through and entire rotation of the wheel? Or are there tight spots? If there are tight spots the drum is out of round and needs to be turned or replaced.

Seems the brakes aren't the source of the squeak as the sound persists even with the brakes applied. Any thoughts? As for the brake drag, it's a very slight drag and it's a bit irregular. That being said, the brake drums are only three months old.

Thanks,
Nat
