I finally had an opportunity to stretch the Volare's legs today. To refresh your memory, it's a 1980 four door with a Super Six. I put the gas pedal to the floor and kept it there until I ran out of speedometer markings at 160 km/h (100 mph). That's where common sense kicked in.

The Drag Strip works but it's over too fast, sounds like you had a chance to sit there and let the ol' SL6 "Sing it's one note song" for a while . . . life is good.

I only have 85 mph on my speedo, have seen aspen/volares with 120 speedos. I would love to have one.
