You're going to be looking awhile; those were discontinued in 1967. You don't need one, the steel-impeller version will fit your car and work correctly if it is a reputable brand, properly made, properly installed.

I bought a new pump from NAPA with the metal impeller and installed it properly. The metal impeller binds up on the block. My block is machined with a "bullseye" and the plastic impeller is concave to fit over this area. The metal impeller binds on the center of the bullseye.

I have found the NOS impellers and will have my waterpump rebuilt using one of them.

I have owned 6 Mopars from the 60's, a couple of Model A's a 66 Corvette, a 1937 Plymouth Woodie wagon and I know how to install a waterpump. I dont think I can find a better brand than Napa, but will buy another one from Auto Zone and try it to see if I have the same problem. I will report back. Thanks, Skipjaz

I pulled the water pump out of my '67 and it had the metal "disc" type impeller (and was corroded bad and squeeled), a new Autozone one has the "new" star style impellers like the 70's cars have.

So you mentioned, and I answered you in detail in this thread—go read it.
I think if you look closer (and chip away at that "bullseye" with a chisel) you will find it's not actually cast metal, but rather built-up and compacted corrosion and trash. Clean it off the block and the new pump will fit for ya.
I'm sure you do, but I'm also sure the slant-6 blocks were not cast or machined with a convex bullseye such as you describe.

I finally understand what you mean, I will look at my block when I get home from work. You are saying that my waterpump created the bullseye from crust and corrosion over the years. I hope it is that simple!
