If anyone knows flatly for certain, do BBP a-body drums definitely have different hub hole sizes from SBP drums?

Yes. Big bolt pattern drums are the same as B-body drums just as B-body ball joints are the same as late disc brake A-body and big bolt pattern drum ball joints.
