What is the best way of mounting a 7" Mr. Gasket degree wheel on a Slant 6 and any comments on competition cams 264 camshaft would be appreciated. Thank you.

That is the best way to do it. Although you could get away with drilling the center and using a crank bolt with a rubber washer. The 3 bolt method is the best.
I degreed in my Comp Cams 252S Saturday, and found that the Cloyes Double Roller chain and sprockets I purchased from NAPA had mismarked "dots" stamped on them. After the initial degreeing I had to run over to my friends and drill press my cam gear and use the Mopar Bushing set I got (used the 4 degree bushing) to get it within spec.

D.I.
Do you have a part number for the NAPA/Cloyes chain and sprocket set?
