Is it a hard to find part and what are the chances of srewing it up. Is it like a C-clip or a G-clip?

The hair pin is below the star reluctor in the pic. It is easy to reinstall. The felt pad that fits on top of it is to the left of the pin.

A 10R should work fine in your Duster. I think that's what MP used in their electronic conversion kits.

I used the lightest springs that were in a Mr Gasket #929G advance kit for a GM HEI dist. The reason was because it was cheap. There are a lot of these kits out there and no demand for them. If you want something more specific, Mr Gasket makes a Mopar spring kit, #925B.

There's not much load (if any) on the clip, if you have too, you can make one out of a paperclip............

It's just there so the governor won't slide off the shaft

I don't think I will mess with the springs right now. I am just going to change the governor.

That will give you a good baseline to work from for the next step in your recurve (don't do too much at once).

The clip comes out with a little persuasion from a pair of long needle nose pliers.
