Looks like the track will be open on Thursday for parking, etc.

According to the CC Events website the Slant race is on Sunday, but it is kinda confusing. :?:

www.ccevents.com

I am hoping we can have a get together of racers on Saturday night for pizza or something of that sort.

I am still offering $100 cash to the street car that goes farthest in the eliminator. Best reaction time breaks the ties. No, I am not including my car in this.

Ron "Possum" Parker is graciously adding a C-note too. :D

I suck anyway. I never go any rounds.

So...Dennis? Looking at the site for the classic....am I gonna have to register for the fun field and the slant race? If so, that means I'll have to fork over $85. If I can register for just the slant race, then that's ok. (Still a little steep to my way of thinking, but...)

Is there an extra charge for camping on grounds? (I doubt I'll be able to afford a motel room.)

If I register for just the slant race, will I have participant privileges on Saturday for the rest of the event?

Sorry, I'm a bit green at this kind of thing. This would be my first big event as a participant.

Roger

Roger, as far as I know, you can just enter the Slant race.

If you need a place top flop, you can stay on my couch. I will be coming home both Friday and Saturday nights. It does say that camping is free though.

I see the schedule is now for time runs and a Gambler's race on Friday. I have e-mailed CC Events to find out if we run Saturday or Sunday. I will post it as soon as I get it.

I got an answer from Eddie Blankenship today. The Slant race will be Saturday night. He said he would update the web page too.

Hey tough guy, I was waiting to see if they even have any shirts, OK? Maybe all you'd get for your check was a couple slices of pizza or sumthin'.
