Years ago, I had a '76 Duster with a 340/727 that weighed 2200. This car had a chrome moly frame, steel body and doors with rest of the body parts made of fiberglass, aluminum interior, R&P steering, light weight 4 wheel discs, the A arms used truck tie rod ends for balljoints!, plastic windows, about as light as it could have been built. This was NOT a street driven car.
If it had a 225/904 it would have weighed in around 2050.
A realistic weight for a streetable, but not comfortable, '66 Dart would be 2700.
If you want to get your '66 down to 2100, cut the floor and firewall out of the body, keep the roof, rear quarters and doors, then throw everything else away and replace with lightweight race parts.

Maybe 20 pounds. Ihave the same brakes on my '66 Valiant, and that's about what they seemed to me to be the difference.

10" drums are lighter than disc, but the disc brakes will stop you a ton better.

If you want to spend some money there are disc brakes lighter than the 10" drums and stop a whole lot better. The Wilwood setup has aluminum hubs and calipers, but doesn't quite measure up to the factory disc brakes in terms of rotor size. With a light car though the Wilwood stuff would be just fine and again, better than 10" drums. Then there are big brake options that weigh more, but offer serious stopping power. My '72 Swinger is getting 11.75" factory rotors for stopping power and Wilwood Dynalite calipers to reduce weight.

bigblockdart.com states that a fully dressed slant 6 weighs in at about 525,
and IIRC the intake and exhaust manifold are about 40 pounds together...

Does anyone make a rollcage for a 1966 a body? (66 barracuda??)

Yes, I got a 8 point kit for my 64 Valiant from S&W race cars. Part number 11-2030 for 64-66 Barracuda/Valiant

525lbs seems a little heavy to me. I picked up a '73 225 and without a carb or alternator it weighs 450 lbs. Other than that the engine was complete. You can get the weight down if you spend money for a mini starter, small alternator and aluminum intake. Power steering weighs 38 lbs more than manual steering, BTW.
