My 66 barracuda was factory equipped with a 273, Do these use the
same size bars as the 6 cylinder cars? I heard that the smaller bars would be better for drag racing(will be putting in 225)--better or quicker weight transfer>?
This will be for a drag only car. Opinions please!

Slant-6s without A/C got the thinnest bars.

Slant-6s w/factory A/C and/or trailer-tow, and 273-2bbl cars, got larger bars.

273-2bbl cars with factory A/C and/or trailer-tow, and 273-4bbl cars, got larger bars still.

That was the pattern in '66. It was followed in other years with the engine packages available in those years.
