We are having the final slant6 West Coast points race at Redding raceway (www.reddingraceway.com) on August 26-27. This is a points race and will count towards the National slant6 points. This is the only West Coast race that will count so please try to support our efforts and show up at Redding on August 26-27. Contact Doug or myself if you need directions or have any questions. Easy to drive to..right off I-5. The race track wants our type of racing and have waved most of the tech/ car fees.. The bank has been screwing with me again so it's gonna be touch and go until I get it cleared up, but at this point it looks like I will have at least enough to get up there and home again a few times!

We have installed a new "hot' engine in the 62 Lancer and it's running strong, it should make some fast passes this weekend, especially if I get the nerve to spray it.

Just got a call from a new slant6 racer from of all places, Redding, Cal. He will be at Redding both days...This should be our biggest turnout for West Coast slant6 racing. Doug and I will get a full report back to you next week. We also have a new racer from Northern Calif. who has a 1934 Plymouth coupe with a slant6 race motor. Swingin' Six has lost 150 via diet. Hope to take a few tenths off. If you can't bring your cars to Redding, why not just show up and watch..this will help support our efforts and let the track people know we are serious about our sport.
