I am interested in buying KYB shocks for my 62 valiant. Summit lists the front shocks from 1962 to 1966. The rears are listed from 63 to 66. Was the rear axle/shock configuration changed beteween 62 and 63. If so is it possible to adapt a KYB to the older axle.

All A-bodies, regardless of year, including your '62, take one kind of front and one kind of rear shock. KYB numbers are 5511 and 4509, don't recall which is front and which is rear.
