Hello Im trying to put a 2bbl intake manifold and carter carb on my 66 dodge valiant (yes a dodge valiant im not crazy its just one of those goofy canadian cars) only problem is my 66 1bbl carb had the throttle linkage set up in the back and my carter has it on the side. What should I do?

I made a bracket for an Aspen gas pedal and put it in my car, then hooked up an F/M/J body throttle cable to that pedal. Pretty simple and cheap. The real toughie can be the kickdown linkage; if you have an automatic you will need the kickdown lever from the donor car and may have to bend the kickdown rod a little.
