I am currently planning a strip only rebuild. I plan to install a new cam. When I send the block out to be boiled out, should I get the cam bearings pressed out first or wait till it goes to the machine shop?
Second question the Offy 4bbl intake, does it fit ok in the 66 cudas ok?
Thanks
Frank

Old cam bearings and all galley and core plugs should be removed prior to boiling of block. The Offie manifold will fit a 66 Cuda. You will either have to get a linkage kit or fab up the linkage from scratch, depending on the carb and the linkage in the car now.

Along these lines, I plan on having my SL6 head boiled along with my block. There are a couple of big allen head plugs on the top of the head, and even bigger ones on the ends. Do these need to be removed prior to being tanked?

Thanks for any and all input.
