 Post subject: Doc - No Oil Cont'd

Doc - Spoke with Hughes this am. Said they could drill the cam but would need a old one for a pattern. They don't have a /6 cam since they only sell 1 or 2 a year. I no longer have the old cam. If the drilling route is selected I assume the hole in the journal would have to be in perfect alignment with the bearing holes. Probably pretty hard material also.

The cam material is not all that hard to drill. Getting the two hole positioned correctly is critical. I will draw up and post the info. tonight. Should I send Hughes a stock cam for them to reference?? (will you cover my shipping cost?)
