Thanks Jess. That was a pretty good rendition of the check list chart. I appreciate your stating it verbally like that. I hope your brain recovers. I will send this to Fred, and see if it helps him out. Where do you live? Are you in the East Coast of the US,or even in the US at all?

Jess,

You should know that there will be a collection of Slant 6 racers at the Bristol Motor Speedway (1/4 mile) THIS weekend. If you want, bring your car and drag race it, or just come to hang out and meet some folks. I'll be there with my road racer 66 Valiant as will the Drakes and the awesome turbo/EFI Simca.

Should be 10-20 Slant racers there and some of the nicest folks you'll ever meet.

Me and my son have talked about this already. I am afaid I dont have a slant Six car together at the monent though. But if we can make it we will come, we would enjoy meating many of the Slant guys seeing the cars & ideas that everybody has put into there rides

I have become dissabled and had to close my shop here in town. This has left me in limbo for awail until I get some settlements taking care of (its getting close). After this I will build a pretty heavy turbo setup. We have already come up with the specs for alot of the custom pieces that need built & have come up with some impressive numbers threw all the calculations. Its a very odd combonation of intake design & exhaust sizes with a strange cam that shows to bring the power to crazy levels on the Slant. Well have to wait and see if the real world results come out to what I have come up with. But it looks like the power can reach Supra levels even with the limitations of the old head design only going to flow numbers that have been proven already. I believe some Billet Main caps & a custom Gurdle is going to be needed. 8)


But we have a freind thats been in & out of the hospital & I have had my own troubles this week also. So we will have to see when this week end gets here. I thought it was last week end and we had already missed it. But I guess we have a chance to see it anyway now.
