Ok well first I guess I should make it perfectly clear, Im new. In general just new; new to this forum new to mopars new to slant 6's and on top of all that I just got assigned to Ft. Huachuca Az. So I'm a little out of my element here, no I'm a lot out of my element here.

Anyway shortly after getting here I found a 75 duster slant 6 with a 3 on the tree. Only major problem is the missing shift linkage. Mopar discontinued it (of course) cant find a junkyard with any a bodies and I don’t feel like hacking my t bar cross member so so much for after market shifters. So my question is, where can I find a shift linkage for my beater?

Thanks for any help you can give,

Pvt Davidson

You should post this in the "Parts Wanted" forum. In the meantime try looking on http://car-part.com/ They probably don't list the linkage seperately but you can do a search for the transmission then contact the yard and see if they have the linkage. There are a few Mopar yards around but the one that seems to come up most often in my searches is one in Thatcher, AZ which is probably about a 4 hour drive for you. There's also a couple around the Phoenix area and also I believe 1 or 2 around Tucson. Good luck. I have the linkage for a '62 but it's unlikely that it would work for you.

Growing older is unavoidable but growing up is strictly optional.
