 Post subject: new 833 parts?

i read in Hot Rod magazine that kiesler just bought the company (or the tooling) that built the 833. i don't have the issue handy for more info. anybody else read about this? this could be good.

I have not heard that, but I also have not seen the most recent Issue of HOT ROD.

Well Chrysler uilt the 833 - Possibly out of the new process Gear division.

If keisler bought the tooling It's good to know that it exists, but if you want shotty customer service and High Prices I do not know how good that is.

i have heard customer service is not that great and i know they are expensive, but parts are parts, right? also i don't know if they got the tooling, but the 833 was mentioned when it was said the parent company was bought. the same company built the muncie, right?

still believe that passonperformance is the way to go when talking about 833's, those guys have retooled and can provide custom new aluminium cast for regular 833 and they have built a custom hemi OD trans with low 1st gear of 2.66 and reinforced overdrive of .70, so you can run a high numerical rear end and still cruise good.
